Welcome
About our Program
All students are welcome in dance class. This includes beginners, trained dancers and those who want to try out new dance styles in a supportive environment. In our classes, students explore various forms of dance, including hip hop, contemporary, and multiple historical and cultural dances. We offer dance class levels from beginning thru advanced (Dance 1-8) with opportunities to perform in a Fall Showcase, Grantasia and the Spring Showcase.
The Grant Dance Collective (GDC):
In addition, we offer a performance-based class which is the Grant Dance Collective (GDC) Performing Company. The GDC members are selected thru an audition process yearly. GDC students take their dance talents to the next level as an all-style dance company. They explore the elements of choreography and composition, while developing performance skills, including improvisation. They will construct various dances together, featuring style specialties, perform publicly at events, including our Fall Showcase, Grantasia, assemblies, local schools/events and a year-end dance Spring Showcase. All dance styles and backgrounds are respected and welcomed, as students are featured in solo and group collaborations.
